We are passionate about creating safe and adaptive spaces for everyone to learn art. We offer a range of sessions for people on NDIS and pride ourselves on being client led and adaptable in all our classes. In- home sessions
$65/hr
We can offer in home art and cooking sessions to clients across the Barossa and Adelaide regions. This is a client led session and we can tailor any thing to your own style. Adaptive tools are available and if there isn’t one available the design team can create one to suit your individual needs. From fiber arts, painting, weaving and cooking there is activity for everyone.
We can come to help with single projects and goals, or on an ongoing basis for weekly, fortnightly or monthly sessions.
In home session run between 1 - 4 hours
Group Home visits
We can provide art and cooking sessions for all participants living in a group home , up to 5 participants. This can be as a special occasion, capacity building visits or ongoing group activities. All materials can be provided and sessions are tailored to the groups individual needs. We can provide adaptive tools or create individualised tools as necessary.
We are available for once off, weekly, fortnightly and monthly visits with each session running between 2-4 hours.
* Our support workers can only provide classroom support. We can not provide medical, toileting or feeding support. If you require these then you are more than welcome to bring your personal support worker to sessions free of charge.
Adaptive sewing class
$250 - 4 week course
Learn how to adapt your clothes to your body. This 4 week course will cover basic pattern making and alteration skills.
We have a strong focus on upcycling and teach the skills to turn old clothes, blankets and scrap fabric into new wearable pieces that fit your body. This can mean sewing for your medical devices, making dresses wheelchair friendly, adjusting for unique body proportions and other tips and tricks to feel good in what you wear.
We can supply a sewing machine but recommend learning on your own machine if you have one.
